About Us
Sherry Snook is the Director and main full-time instructor at Snook Art: Exploratory Art Studio. Sherry is a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University and has completed extensive academic coursework and training in Fine Art and Design. She has worked with children of all ages, having taught middle school special education and also having developed and directed a highly successful after-school program targeting at-risk youth. In January 2005, Sherry launched her first art studio formally known as Snook Academy of Art in Florida. After moving to Charlotte, Sherry has dedicated the last couple of years to being mom and wife to her wonderful family and husband. Now partnering with her husband Jeremi, Snook Art was opened to share their love of the arts with the community.
At Snook Art we expose participants to various forms of art by providing foundational exploratory classes with a creative balance in drawing, painting, craft and design. We also offer specific courses for those who wish to focus on a particular medium. As is with all our classes at Snook Art - FUN - is mandatory!
